Are old Minis expensive there? I have followed car prices for quite long time and Minis have always been very expensive in here.

You can get good deals... Especially for LHD ones... A few ended up here and they are always quite a lot cheaper.

I thought that with import cars the LHD steering was a status symbol and somewhat appreciated.

Here the cheapest ones that are for sale through normal markets are starting from 5k€.

Not for British cars no... for LHD cars that are orginally LHD yes, but they don’t go as far as wanting british or Japanese cars in LHD lol

It just kills me to see so many of those. I want to get a body shell for a project I have in mind but originals in the states are either pristine full cars or rusted junk. Guess I’ll have to import one if I go that route.
